Take a Trip Back in Time…

You see yourself walking down a bustling Victorian high-street, a billow of steam shoots overhead from a classic Victorian steam car, whilst kids are eagerly lining up to go on a big ferris wheel and a jazz band can be heard over the sounds of the celebration’s ambiance. You’re thinking, pinch me so I wake up!

Little did you know Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza is back in town!

The festival is now in it’s 34th year and is an integral part of this historic town’s calendar. This year’s Victorian extravaganza will be a return to its former glory as it will feature more Victorian style things. Last year there was a whopping 123 fairground plots and rides, seeing some speculation as to whether the extravaganza has become too modern. However, this year organisers have said that they have seen the light and have reduced the event’s modern fairground plots down to 57. This will mean more space for Victorian authenticity.

Throughout the town expect to see tonnes of Victorian engines parading down the highstreets and people strolling down the road in traditional Victorian attire.

Carnival games and puppet shows, big brass bands, duck ponds, coconut shys and shooting competitions are all available to play whilst at this awesome event.

Featuring all of Llandudno’s local business and establishments the extravaganza is an all-inclusive and ideal environment home to scores of local restaurants, pubs and cafés making it a perfect opportunity to sample the local characteristic charm of the seaside resort town. Pop over to Llandudno and enjoy the awesome event featuring Victorian themed carnival celebrations. The event will be taking place across 3 days of fun and amusements.

This year the event is taking place from 4th –6th of May, each day the festivities kick off at 10.00 and continue through to 17.00.
