Parking in Conwy: car parks, prices and postcodes

Conwy is a small walled town and the castle has no car park of its own, so it pays to know where to head. Here is every car park with satnav postcodes, spaces and current prices. Checked October 2026.

At weekends Bodlondeb is cheaper than the town centre. The Christmas market: Conwy @ Christmas on the quay brings big crowds. Arrive early, use Morfa Bach, or come by train. See our Christmas markets guide.
Paying

How to pay

Council machines take cards (where there is a signal) and coins, but give no change. You can also pay by phone with PayByPhone on 0330 1096 182.Watch out for QR code scams. Conwy council does not use QR codes on its parking machines. If you see one, do not scan it, and report it to [email protected].Blue Badge

Blue Badge parking

Blue Badge holders park free in disabled bays in council car parks, and free in any on-street pay and display bay. Display your badge, and set your clock if the bay has a time limit. Vicarage Gardens and Morfa Bach have the most disabled bays.Campervans and coaches

Campervans, motorhomes and coaches

Morfa Bach has 4 campervan spaces and 5 coach spaces. Overnight camping is not allowed in council car parks. Coaches can drop off on Rosehill Street, where there are 2 spaces for up to 15 minutes. Beacons Slipway has a 2.4m height limit, so it is no good for vans.

Getting to Conwy without a car

Conwy station is a request stop just inside the town walls. Llandudno Junction, across the river, has far more trains and is a 15 to 20 minute walk over the bridge. Buses link Conwy with Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Bangor. See our getting to North Wales guide and check the A55 traffic before you set off.More on the town: our Conwy guide, Conwy.com, and parking next door in Llandudno.Sources: Conwy County Borough Council car park information, Conwy Town Council and Cadw, checked October 2026.
