Colwyn Bay Round Table Christmas Float & Helpers

Now it’s December, Christmas is just around the corner! This means that once again, Santa Claus will be teaming up with voluntarily groups all round North Wales. In Colwyn Bay that means Colwyn Bay Round Table group (CBRT) will be bringing smiles all round to the children of the Colwyn Bay, Penrhyn Bay and Llysfaen areas!
Always a big hit with the good boys and girls of the area – Santa and the members of the local Round Table group will be touring the area most evenings in the weeks leading up to Christmas, helping to raise money for local deserving charitable causes, whilst offerings festive greetings, sweets, cheery music and a jovial “ho ho ho” to all from Santa Claus himself!
Rob Stewart, member of CBRT and Director of Richard Williams Ltd. said “For us, this is not simply about raising money. Everyone involved gets a huge buzz out of bringing Christmas to all those little faces. For many, the Christmas float signals the start of Christmas – and whilst we don’t expect a donation, we are extremely grateful to those who offer a contribution to deserving causes”.
Accompanying Santa will be the CBRT members, as well as various “little helpers” from various local organizations. Local scout groups and Colwyn Bay sports clubs are often part of the fundraising – Christmas series of events, to help do there bit in bringing joy to the people of North Wales.
Santa’s “sleigh”/float is preparing for its tour of the Colwyn Bay and surrounding areas, so check out the dates below to find out when he comes to a place near you!
Santa’s float will be touring the area each day during the early evening, so keep an eye out!
