nough to be staying at the private lodges Conwy has hidden away in the valleys will most certainly be happy to know that the award winning debut of Gorjys Secrets Music Festival last year cemented a definite return for this September. Beginning on the 15th until the 17th and held at the incredible landscaped gardens of Caer Rhun Hall in Conwy, the festival is sure to take the lead as North Wales’ most popular music event.
International artists and local Welsh talent alike will take to the stages and occupy the tents, making it far more than just another addition to the ever increasing list of music festivals. The line-up consists of well-known acts such as Lewis Watson, Marcus Bonfanti, Karima Francis, and Jon Gomm.
As the sun goes down, the grounds of the country manor house estate will begin to illuminate, creating a truly magical atmosphere that will pull you further into the breathtakingly Gorjys wonderland.
Running alongside the weekend of music will be a huge variety of family friendly events, performances and activities, which will range from a comedy night, garden spa, sauna huts and massage, donkey rides, wood carving, axe throwing, face painting, family circus, henna art and body painting, festival hair dressing, and some fairy story telling.
Hunger won’t strike during your weekend at Gorjys Secrets, as samples of Wales’ most exquisite food and drink found at the Market Place will be at your disposal, supplied by many locally sourced independent food vendors, alongside local craft ales, gins and wines.
An early start on Friday 15th will give you the opportunity to attend the “Giggle Under The Tree” comedy night, hosted by Tudur Owen who returns as host once again. This free event for the early-starters’ is guaranteed to kick off your weekend in all the right ways, and prepare you for the high-quality performances and entertainment still to come.
