Idlewild Animal Sanctuary needs your help.
Idlewild Animal Sanctuary has been helping animals across North Wales since 2015. At present, they are situated in Conwy Valley, North Wales, where there are over 200 animals including wild, farm, domestic and exotic.
What Idlewild Animal Sanctuary Do
When there is an animal that needs support, they are the first port of call for many organisations, RSPCA Llandudno Junction, local vets, and other rescue centres close by. Supported by a team of foster carers, they run a small hospital and also an animal ambulance service.
The lease on their current premises expires June 2026, and unfortunately their landlord cannot renew this contract. This is where they need your help!
They are in need of an alternative location to relocate to, where they are able to not only support the animals, but also the volunteers and their support workers and carers. The ideal premises will need to accommodate all types of animals, with land of approximately 12 acres, with appropriate buildings or enough space to build them. This is estimated to cost around £600,000. At present, it costs around £100,000 a year to keep the sanctuary running. These mainly come from individual donations or fundraising. Although these donations are greatly appreciated, now they are in need of securing much larger donations to support their relocation of premises.

If they are not successful, the Idlewild Animal Sanctuary will have to close down. All animals will have to be rehomed, or worse, which is the last resort they want to take.
