Guy Fawkes Night Across North Wales and Snowdonia
Remember, Remember the 5th of November. How on earth could we forget? Bonfire night is that explosive time of year where the skies are lit up with sparks and blasts of awesome fireworks displays. But with so much going on, it can be difficult to keep track of what’s going on. Never fear! NorthWales.com has all the information you need on what’s going on to ensure that you don’t miss out on the festivities over the course of the celebration.
So wrap up warm, ready your sparklers and head off to meet up with your friends and family for a baked potato and watch the display by the warmth of a blazing bonfire in locations all over North Wales.
If you’re heading out for the displays please remember to keep pets safely inside your home. You can help animals feel safe and secure by making sure that there is a ‘safe place’ for them where they can hide if things get a bit too much.

Barmouth
Barmouth Annual Bonfire and Fireworks display will take place on the beach by the bathhouse

Llandudno Fireworks Display 2018
A magnificent professionally orchestrated fireworks display in place over Llandudno Bay starting at 6.30pm.

Llanbedr:
Shell Island Fireworks and music as part of campsite celebrations. Adult £9.25 per night. Children £4 per night. £2.50 per night.
November 2nd
Llay
Llay Miners Welfare Bonfire and Fireworks Display on Friday.
Gates open at 5.30pm. Bonfire lit at 6.30pm. Fireworks at 7pm.
Gresford
Fireworks display at Gresford AFC off the high street. Gates open at 6.15pm Punch and Judy 6.45pm. Fireworks start at 7.30pm. £4 adults (16+) £2 Under 16 + OAP. Licensed Bar and Food available.
November 3rd
Llangollen:
Llangollen railway fireworks. The train departs 6pm and returns at around 8.30. Full bar in service on board. £18 for adults and £12 for children.
Penyffordd:
Bonfire and fireworks display from 6.30pm. Entry £3.00 Adults £1.00 Children
Marchwiel:
Bryn y Grog Fireworks at Pennylann Farm. Bonfire and fireworks with fairground rides, stalls, attractions, games. Gates are open at 4pm. Bonfire is lit at 7pm. Fireworks at 7.30pm Entry is £5 per person. Under 5s go free. Arriving 1 hour early is advised.
Pwllheli:
Pontoon Pwllheli
Fireworks display at Pontoon Pwllheli on Monday.
Queensferry:
Deeside Charity Bonfire and Fireworks Display. Doors open at 6.30, bonfire lit at 7.10, Fireworks at 7.20pm. Tickets on sale October 11.
Henllan
Bonfire night from 6.30pm.
Ruthin Fireworks Display
The Centre will first be hosting a small fireworks display suitable for children ‘Twinkles’ which will begin at 6.30. This will be followed by the main fireworks event at 7pm.
Criccieth
Bonfire and firework display on Criccieth beach. Bonfire is lit at 6.30pm fireworks at 8pm. Live music, children’s entertainment and street food on the night. Free Entry, Donations Welcome.
Abergele Pensarn Beach
Toddler Display at 6.15pm. There will then be a large display at 7pm (weather permitting)
Pentredwr Bonfire Night
There will be a toasty bonfire and a firework display along with BBQ and refreshments available. Happening from 6.30pm at Pentredwr Community.

Treaddur Bay
Treaddur Bay Hotel and Firework Display on Sunday, November 4th. Raising money for the cancer research UK appeal. Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm.
Free but donations welcome
Colwyn Bay
Eirias Park bonfire and fireworks event. The bonfire will be lit at around 7.15 with the fireworks display following at 7.30. There’s free entry but donations in aid of the Firefighters are welcome.
Bangor-On-Dee: The Buck House. Wrexham bonfire and fireworks. Gates open at 6pm and the display kicks off at 7.30. Fairground games and rides on the night. Free entry.
November 5th
Holyhead
Holyhead and District Round Table and Ynys Cybi/ Holy Island 41 Club present their annual vonfidre and firework display at Penrhos beach, Holyhead on Monday November 5th.
Gates open 5.30pm. Bonfire lit at 6.15 with the first firework display kicking off at 7pm.

Annual firework display
Bonifre, Fireworks, BBQ and woodfired pizza. 5pm-10pm.
Chirk AAA’s Firework Display 2018
Holyhead Road, Chirk
Gates open from 6 pm, a bonfire lit at 7pm. Firework display at 7.30pm.
Entry £4 for adults and over 14s. £1 for under 14s, Kids under three go free.

Fireworks display on the prom from 6.30pm

Llanwrst:
Plas yn Dre Car Park
Fireworks will be set off promptly at 7pm. There will be a fairground and hot food.
A word from North Wales Police if you plan to have private displays.
- You must not set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am (between midnight and 7am on Bonfire Night)
- You can only buy fireworks (including sparklers) from registered sellers between October 15th and
- November 10th for private use
- You can be fined up to £5,000 and imprisoned for up to 6 months for selling or using fireworks illegally
- You cannot buy category 2 and 3 fireworks if you’re under 18
- You must not throw fireworks in a public place or into the road – it is dangerous, illegal and you will be fined
- Remember that many pets (and some people) are afraid of the sound of fireworks, especially the very loud explosive ones. Please be considerate of your neighbours when planning your private firework party.
