St Thomas’
St Thomas’ Church is in the centre of the village of Eaton. The small and beautiful church is home to a regular congregation of worshippers. There is a service of Holy Communion here at 9 am every Sunday, apart from the last Sunday, when the service is Morning Worship.
Baptisms, weddings and funerals are held here.
There is a small and well-kept churchyard.
The churchwardens are Mr Mike Scott and Mrs Rosemary Lilley.
Close by is the Jessie Hughes Village Hall, the centre of many of the social activities of the village.
St John’s
St John’s, at the heart of Cotebrook, is in the parish of Tarporley and daughter church to St Helen’s. The church stands on the hillside close to the A49 passing through Cotebrook, on the other side of the road to the Alvanley Arms. Parking is in the car park of the adjacent Village Hall.
There is a service of Holy Communion at 11.15 on the first Sunday of the month, to which all are warmly welcome.
