This estate has been in the same family for five generations and provides traditional Spanish partridge shooting, along with a few high drives specifically catered to British clients. When booking, you can expect a personal and family-focused experience without the need for an intermediary.
Partridge Shooting
Shooting driven Partridge in the UK is generally comparable to Spanish partridge shooting; however, there are a few key distinctions. For instance, La Moraleja commonly sets a personal quota of 100 birds for a two-day period. After you get close to the predetermined amount, you can either choose to select more challenging birds or keep going, although you’ll need to pay for any extra you shoot. Moreover, each gun typically has a secetario (or two if necessary) that can load for you in both the Spanish or English style. This secetario also counts and keeps track of your shots (not just the birds picked up) and tallies the final number on your shoot card.
Finca La Moraleja has been providing Driven Shooting for over half a century, thanks to the diligent work of the Rojo Family. The shooting Season in Castilla La Mancha extends from October to the end of February. Wild Partridges inhabit the estate and are supplemented by our seasonal release in the summer months. To ensure all birds are cared for, a gamekeeper diligently provides food and water daily, as well as warding off potential predators.
