Conwy water GardensNorth Wales and the great outdoors go together like mud and wellies; you can’t have one without the other. There’s a reason why so many adventurers flock to this stunning region to explore and uncover its beautiful scenery.

A nature trail in Conwy North Wales that you might not instantly recognise as being one of the main places to seek out but one that nevertheless can be found at Conwy Water Gardens in Rowen. As one of the newest around, it’s also one of the freshest and therefore most exciting to take part in!

“Set amidst a woodland valley, you’ll enjoy walking through the tranquil surroundings…”

Conwy Water Gardens take great pride in providing an experience unlike any other throughout North Wales. The diverse range of things to do on their beautiful grounds could very well keep the whole family entertained throughout the day. The new nature trail is one more great addition to an already jam-packed itinerary.

‘Nature’ is indeed the operative keyword here as you can catch many fascinating animals and beautiful sights from your first step to the last. It’s not just your standard nature trail where you walk along in the hopes of seeing a wild rabbit – these animals are there for you to discover and become enamoured by.

You might expect to only be able to find capybaras, pheasants and otters at somewhere like the Welsh Mountain Zoo but that’s not the case on this nature trail. At some points in the year, you can even enjoy watching otters feeding! You can expect to also see plenty of ducks, fantail pigeons and hundreds of woodland birds when you visit Conwy Water Gardens’ newest attraction.

There’s more than a traipse through nature to enjoy at Conwy Water Gardens as it has such an interesting menagerie of things to see, do and scoff! The Dutch pancake house is the place to be if you have a gap in your stomach that urgently needs filling and there’s plenty of variety to be found in the menu. You will struggle to find anywhere else that has quite so many different pancakes: rum & toffee tipple, Dutch toffee, chocolate chip…the list goes on.

The variety doesn’t end there at Conwy Water Gardens. Plenty of fascinating (and sometimes skincrawling) creatures await you at the Reptile House, including Hermann’s Tortoise, corn snakes, milk snakes, king snakes, royal pythons, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, tree frogs and crested geckos.

A bumper day out is in-store for you at Conwy Water Gardens – there’s something to tick off everybody’s list! Call them on 01492 650063 or email: [email protected].
