Wirral Earth Fest is back once again for 2014!
This is an event for absolutely everyone in the Wirral area and beyond who have an interest in ‘green’ or environmental matters and those who want to celebrate the beauty of our natural surroundings and old, local customs.
This event is a fantastic celebration and promotion of all things to do with the Earth and protecting our natural environment. This year the event will take place on Friday the 12th September and Saturday the 13th September at St Bridget’s fields and Church Centre in West Kirby.
This is a charming event for all environmentally conscious individuals in the Wirral and surrounding areas and for all those who love to have a good time as there will be plenty of entertainment as well as conservation matters.
You will find Earth Fest 2014 filled with plenty of music, dancing, local foods and ales, games and activities. You have the chance to meet a number of highly talented local artists, tradespeople, environmental conservationists. In addition to this a selection of local schools, community groups, faith groups and activists for the local and wider environment will be represented at Earth Fest.
There is an extra special opening for Earth Fest 2014 this year. The day before the start of the big event there will be a special evening brought to us by Peter Owen Jones. He has come especially to help kick off 2014’s Wirral Earth Fest and he is well known for his thought provoking programs. This year he will be talking on ‘The Quest for Well-being in the 21st Century’. This opening event takes place on the Friday 12th September from 7:30pm. Tickets are £5.
On the Saturday there is the main event and all the stalls and activities on show. Earth Fest is open from 10am until 4pm on the Saturday.
