Little Sutton is a charming town located in Cheshire and it is ideally situated near Cheshire’s borders with the Wirral and Merseyside. This means that, in addition to having beautiful Cheshire countryside all around it, Little Sutton is near great events all year round. There is no shortage of things to do around Little Sutton as it is so near to great cities, towns and rural areas.

This September Little Sutton is conveniently located near the massive Port Sunlight Village Festival! People come from all across the Wirral and Cheshire to enjoy this 100% free annual event!

If you live in or are visiting the area you will want to check out the Port Sunlight Village Festival. It is a wonderful day out and fun for all members of the family.

The Port Sunlight Village Festival takes place on the autumn equinox (the 21st and 22nd of September) It is an unusual event in that it takes the ideas of a traditional summer festival and winter festival and instead, brings them both together into one massive event in the autumn. The village festival also coincides with Port Sunlight’s Founder’s Day celebrations. The village is very historically significant. It was created by Hesketh Lever for his Sunlight Soap Factory workers in 1888.

The festival includes a traditional funfair, vintage vehicles on displays, the chance to buy gorgeous, lovingly made, vintage clothing and there are plenty of stalls selling home wares and holding beautiful craft exhibitions. Live music will entertain throughout the day and there will be dancing, lots of delicious food on offer and a light hearted dog show so be sure to bring your pets.

This will be one of the largest and best village fairs you will experience so do not miss out on the charm that is the Port Sunlight Village Festival this September.
