If you are looking to keep fit in North Wales this autumn or just want an exciting sporting event to watch then make sure to attend the Vale of Clwyd Half Marathon race this November.
The race will take place on the 24th of November so it will be a great way to keep warm as autumn deepens. There is no excuse to get slack on keeping fit in the colder months now that fantastic racing opportunities and other great fitness events are available all year round in North Wales.
The race begins at 10am so do not be late if you are participating or want to watch the adrenaline fuelled start of this challenging race.
The race will begin from Llandyrnog village Hall in Denbighshire and the half marathon’s exciting climax will also take place here as the race is fairly circular. Refreshments will also be available from the village hall during the race for spectators.
This is a great, challenging race but also suitable for those looking to improve their fitness as well as avid runners. It will also be a beautiful race as it winds through the gorgeous Clwyd countryside. The Clwyd Half Marathon is an on road race but it includes plenty of amazing views and pleasant surroundings for the runners to enjoy along the way as it follows scenic country lanes. The race follows paths through rural Denbighshire and overlooks the dramatic sights of the Clwydian mountain range.
Even if you are an inexperienced runner that is no reason to be put off from participating. This race aims to keep more people fit in North Wales and it is the taking part that counts with a goody bag prize for everyone who manages to complete the half marathon. It is £19 to enter the race attached and £21 unattached. This race is part of the Vale of Clwyd challenge series and 2013 will be the first Clwyd half marathon race.
Keep fit in North Wales this autumn with great fitness events! This race is being organised by Out-Fit Personal Fitness which was first set up in October 2007 and aims to improve the fitness of those living in the North Wales area.
