The highly popular Vale of Clywd Race is back for 2015.
This spring it will take place on March 29th, making it a great way to get exercising outdoors once the milder weather is here and get into shape ready for summer.
These races are arranged by Out-Fit personal training along with many other different races throughout the year to suit various abilities. Out-Fit was founded to help people get exercising outdoors in the region and their races have proved extremely effective.
The Vale of Clwyd race has become particularly popular in the past for both participants and supporters thanks to its scenic route. It travels along country roads through various sections of the Vale of Clwyd, which is well known for its natural beauty and outstanding landscape views.
Entry is now open for this race so be sure to book a space soon. The race will begin at 11am on the 29th but make sure you are there early for registration if you are participating.
The Vale of Clwyd race is a 10k race and 2015 will actually be its 4th instalment. All the Out-Fit races are well known for providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
This year the route will start from Llandyrnog village. The race will take you out of Llandyrnog and through picturesque villages and countryside in the areas of Llangwyfan, Llangynhafal and Hendrerwydd. Registration will open at 8:30am at Ysgol Bryn Clwyd School and will close promptly at 10:45am so runners can get to the starting line on time.
The time records to beat are Male – Steven Boyton – 34:30 – 2012 and Female Isobel Redfearn – 40.03 – 2014.
This is a wonderful race for those looking to increase their fitness and for those looking to improve their personal best or beat the record.
For all fitness buffs in the North East Wales region this will be a perfect race for the spring time.
