From the 28th of September to the 1st of December an unusual and exciting exhibit is coming to Ruthin town. ‘Ceramics Illustrated’ is a fabulous and fascinating art exhibit event taking place in the Ruthin Craft Centre and it is a great opportunity to see Ruthin as the creative art hub that it is.
The event is unusual as it brings together two very different disciplines and unites them in this creative and daring display of artistic talent.
Illustrations and ceramics painting create an exhibition to delight art lovers in Ruthin. There is no excuse to miss this unique exhibition. It takes place at the incredible Applied Arts hub that is the Ruthin Craft Centre.
The Craft Centre is a heart of artistic expression in Denbighshire with three main galleries, six glass studios all housing beautiful and unique skills all very different from one another. There is also a retail gallery where you can buy art, jewellery, wrapping paper and much more. Educational workshops take place in the craft centre if you fancy branching out into the art world yourself and there is a fantastic cafe in the craft centre with wonderful food on offer. If you have never visited the craft centre before now is the time. Come and enjoy the art and the gorgeous courtyard terrace.
Ceramics Illustrated explores expressions of eclectic freedom and reveals ambitious concepts from the artists. It is not just decorative objects. The displays will feature works of ceramic from artists such as Lowri Davies, Amy Jayne Hughes, Katy Jennings and many more.
Ruthin Craft Centre hosts intriguing and compelling exhibits all year round. It is the perfect town for artists and creative individuals.
