For all the running fans in North Wales looking to enter races to burn off the indulgence of Christmas there are plenty of great options opening up now for the New Year. This includes the Rhyl 10 mile run.
The Rhyl 10 Mile run is a great flat and fast race that is designed for those wanting to beat their personal best. It is perfect for club runners and fun runners and provides a straight, easy route along the North Wales coast starting in Rhyl. This race is all about speed and beating your own time. Push your limits with this great race, which is organised by Run Wales.
Run Wales organises challenging races throughout the North Wales region across all sorts of varied terrains and different distances but all feature stunning natural scenery.
This 10 mile race starts off in the seaside town of Rhyl and heads up towards Kimnel Bay along the coast road. The race will take place on the 22nd of February 2015.
The race may be a few months off but it is now open for entries so get your name down soon if you want to take part.
There will be prizes available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place so there is a little extra motivation to win.
The race starts at noon but registration takes place from 9am-11:15am so make sure you are early if you are participating.
Entry price is £17 for affiliated runners or £19 for unaffiliated runners. This race also includes a lovely, quality bespoke medal and shirt for entrants.
For all those entering the race please be aware you must be over 16 and headphones are not permitted to be worn during the race.
