The Nantwich Show 2013 will be coming back to South Cheshire for Wednesday the 31st of July.
Those from Nantwich, Tarporley, Tarvin and all of the South Cheshire towns should be gearing up for the annual Nantwich Farming Extravaganza.
This fabulous country show has more than just livestock competitions, it also boasts the largest cheese show in the world!
This year will feature massive marquees to accommodate the many stalls and trade stands. The cheese show marquee will be 80,000square feet to hold the 3,926 entrants from 24 countries.
The show is not just for those in the farming community, it is wonderful entertainment for everyone. The show normally has over 400 trade stands that offer you retail comfortable in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. There will be home, food and garden produce, leisure and handicraft products and many displays, including floral art, horticulture and local honey.
The representatives of the major manufacturers of farming technology will be present to promote the latest equipment so if you are in the farming business you will not want to miss out.
Motor bike stunts will be set among the very best Shire horse and cattle competitions.
There will even be celebrity chefs present such as James Martin, Matt Tenbutt and will Holland. They will be performing special cooking displays. If you want the chance to see these live cooking displays you must buy a specific chef ticket. A regular adult ticket is £14 and a ticket to see a celebrity chef perform is £19.
The countryside pursuits section of the show gives people a taste of traditional popular pastimes in the country such as falconry and gundogs.
For those with mobility issues the show is offering the option of hiring mobility scooters for the day.
This should be an event that is fun for the whole family.
