The National Slate Museum is getting set to put on a special festive fun day for locals and visitors to come together – to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas period.
Christmas art, crafts, food and face painting stalls will be on hand to provide some entertainment, along with puppet shows and other seasonal cheer! Kids, don’t forget to write your Christmas letters and bring them along, as you can post them in Santa’s special post box, or give it to him yourself! Santa will be visiting the fair, where you’ll be able to visit him where it will be booming with Christmas festivity.
As well as enjoying the festive atmosphere, range of stalls and cheery people, you will be able to tour the very special Welsh slate museum, which has been running open for the public since 1972 and embraces an interesting and meaningful history. Visit the Quarrymen’s Houses, which will be decorated for Christmas! If you are not familiar with the area, it could be very beneficial to take the opportunity to have a look around Llanberis and it’s offerings, where you will unveil to yourselves the beauty of the town.
The National Slate Museum won the “Sense of Place” award, as it’s atmosphere and ‘vibe’ are extremely capturing. The event takes place on the 25th November 2012 from 11am to 3pm at the National Slate Museum in Llanberis. This event is one to go in the diary, do not miss out!
