Ever wanted to see a big block of ice become manipulated into something extremely beautiful? Well don’t miss this chance! Coming to Rhyl on Saturday 8th December from 11am to 3pm is a professional ice sculptor who will be using a chainsaw to create a Christmas themed ice sculpture in front of your very eyes.
Watch in amazement as a block of ice is turned into a statue of spectacular class, sophistication and beauty on the Rhyl High Street. Courtusey of Sandinyoureye Sand and ice sculpting, you will observe some unique chain saw ice sculpting, whilst in Rhyl, offering you some mid-shopping entertainment whilst you get those Christmas gifts from Rhyl’s fantastic shopping facilities.
The live carve is a part of a national campaign to liberate ice sculptors from the confines of a freezer, freeing them onto the streets of the United Kingdom so the public can witness their creative talents.
From 11am to 3pm on Saturday 8th December 2012, visitors to Rhyl’s High Street will get the chance to see ice sculpting in all its beauty.
