Bodelwyddan Castle is well known as one of the best Halloween destinations in North East Wales.

For everyone looking for an excellent Halloween event in Denbighshire and Flintshire Bodelwyddan Castle is the place to go for a whole range of themed events throughout the Halloween period.

This year Bodelwyddan Castle has even introduced some brand new family events especially 2014: Halloween in the Haunted Wood is a charmingly spooky new event suitable for the whole family this October 31st. Bodelwyddan is surrounded by beautiful woods, which make the ideal location for a chilling Halloween celebration.

Halloween in the Haunted Wood is a great opportunity to discover the mysteries of the haunted woodland and will include spooky stories and ancient tales.
The event will take place on Friday October 31st with tours taking place at 11:30am, 2pm, 4pm and each will last approximately one hour. This is a great event to put in the calendar as it will go ahead no matter the weather. If extreme weather conditions appear the event can always be hosted within the castle walls.

Be sure to book in advance for these tours and be aware there is a minimum age requirement of 6 years old.

This event is the perfect way to spend your Halloween for 2014 and is very good value with adult tickets available at £10, children’s tickets are £6 and this counts for 8-18 year olds. Each child will also get a spooky treat included in their ticket price and all guests will have access to the castle and grounds following the tour too.

Bodelwyddan is a fantastic historical landmark and this is just one of the extra special Halloween event on this year. Why not also check out Twilight Tours on the 25th, 27th, 29th and 31st of October from 6pm-8pm. This is a great opportunity to visit the castle after dark. There will also be a spooky scene making session on the 31st at 11am, 1pm and 3:30pm. This is a perfect workshop for children ages 5-12. This event is free with a regular admissions ticket.
