One of the best events in the Mold area is back for this spring 2014. The Real Ale Trail is an excellent tour around the best ale pubs in the Flintshire County.
This event allows you to experience the best of real ales without worrying about the designated driver as a bus drives you to all the most well-known pubs for their excellent ales.
This will be the fourth year of the real Ale festival and the bus sets off from Mold’s the Gold Cape pub. Tickets are £10 if you pay on the day or £7.50 if you book in advance. These tickets can be purchased from any of the participating pubs. Some of the pubs taking part in the spring Real Ale Trail 2014 are: The Gold Cape in Mold, The Oak in Hendre, The Pwll Gwyn in Afonwen, The Royal Oak in Caerwys, the Piccadilly in Caerwys, the Crown Inn in Lixwm, the Black Lion in Babell, the Crooked Horn in Brynford, the Red Lion in Brynford and the Antelope in Rhydymwyn.
There will be 50 different ales on offer for you to try if you come along to this great Flintshire based event. Each pub will provide a minimum of two ales.
The Flintshire Real Ale Trail will take place on Saturday the 12th of April 2014 and the event starts at 11am and ends at 11pm. Buses will conveniently run every 30 minutes during the trail.
Not only is this a great festival for tasting the finest local, Welsh ales but it is a wonderful day out around the Flintshire countryside and it gives you the opportunity to meet new people. Remember the pubs also serve delicious food and bar drinks for those who are bringing friends who are less partial to ales.
