There are plenty of wonderful events taking place in Tarporley this year and one of the best places to go for a day of fun with the family is Beeston Castle.
Beeston Castle offers spectacular panoramic views across the Cheshire region from its highest battlements. It has 40000 years’ worth of history in this famously historic landmark and it is home to over 40 acres of beautiful Cheshire woodland in its grounds. Beeston Castle hosts many events throughout the year that attracts large numbers of tourists and locals to this remarkable ancient castle.
This February the dreary, long winter can dampen everyone’s spirits but Beeston Castle in Tarporley is providing a perfect event to keep the family entertained.
This month you can enjoy the February Half Term Trail at Beeston Castle grounds.
Throughout the year Beeston Castle puts on special trails for the family where you can solve clues and find prizes. This is a great way to get some fresh air after the long winter indoors. It is good exercise for the mind and body and great fun too.
The February Half Term Trail is of course aimed at children and is the perfect way to keep them entertained this half term. There is nothing better than expanding your historical knowledge while surrounded by acres of gorgeous woodland.
The February Half Term Trail runs from Saturday the 15th of February to Sunday the 23rd of February from 10am-4pm each day. Tickets are available to purchase upon entering the castle. They are £5.90 for adults, £3.50 for children and FREE for English Heritage Members.
The half Term Trail is full of clues and at the end you could win a delicious treat. The children always enjoy our trail competition and it can be hard to keep them occupied during the half term breaks so head out for a fantastic day at Beeston Castle this February.
