The Conwy Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 18th November and has been dubbed one of the most scenic half marathons in the United Kingdom by readers of Runners World.
The marathon is now entering it’s 4th year of activity and seems to be becoming more and more popular as the word spreads. The race will start and finish at the picturesque Conwy Quay, which is located in close proximity of the castle, alongside the River Conwy.
The Conwy Half Marathon takes a route adjacent to the River Conwy that heads over the bridge and alongside the coast towards the town of Deganwy. From Deganwy beach the route heads over the Llandudno’s West Shore, followed by a run through Llandudno town to the pier, where runners will be tackling the Great Orme, which have spectacular views that will leave you breathless! (if not already).
After the Great Orme stage is completed, runners will run straight back to Conwy, where the finish line awaits!
The Half Marathon hopes to attract more runners than ever before, with people running for various causes ranging from charity, community, fitness and personal challenges! The run is set to be fun to run and will prove a challenge that will reward you with a great sense of achievement.
