November will soon be behind us and December will bring festive feelings as we approach Christmas.

North East Wales has plenty of delightful and charming Christmas markets, concerts, fayres and much more to warm you up with Christmas magic this winter.
Across Denbighshire and Flintshire towns there will be the opportunity to meet Santa, eat delicious Christmas treats and buy some wonderful gifts this December and November so do not miss out on all the best events.
Denbigh Christmas Festival-Last year this was a big success and everyone has high hopes for this year. Christmas lights, competitions, food, the Denbigh Christmas market and much more were on offer in 2012 and it is very nearly time for the 2013 festival. This year the festival comes to Denbigh on Friday the 29th of November so pop the date in your diaries.
Christmas at Ruthin Castle– Ruthin Castle hosts wonderful events throughout the year and it is the perfect venue for Christmas events with its beautiful structure that is so representative of Welsh culture and history. The event will take place on the 7-8th of December. You can meet Father Christmas, buy unique gifts and treats and there is both and indoor and outdoor section to the festive event.
Ollie’s Haven Animal Rescue Christmas Fundraiser– On the 8th of December you can enjoy the very first Ollie’s Haven Animals rescue Christmas fundraiser. It will take place in St Asaph in Neuadd Owen. Mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas carols will be on offer and all money raised goes to helping this charity. You can also enjoy some well deserved retail therapy and plenty of animals and pet lovers will be present.
Christmas Craft Weekend– Rhyl will be hosting its own Christmas Craft Weekend Fayre on the 14th and 15th of December from 11am until 4pm on both days. There will be balloons, face paints, gifts and Father Christmas will be visiting between 12-3 on both days. All money raised from this event will go to Glan Clwyd Hospital memorial for babies.
Prestatyn Trinity Craft Market– Enjoy a craft filled Christmas event in Trinity Methodist church in Prestatyn on the 14th of December where you are sure to find some excellent Christmas gifts.
