Bodnant Welsh Food Centre is proud to host the Children’s Fun Festival Event. This event is completely free and free parking is available!
It is a perfect event for family fun and a great way to keep the kids entertained this July.
The Children’s Fun Festival will take place on Saturday the 27th of July and Sunday the 28th of July.
There will be a huge host of fun activities each day such as face painting, a BBQ, an edible poster making competition and lots of games! Games will include a watergun battle from 4:30 on both days so don’t forget to bring your own water pistols.
The event will run from 11am until 5pm on both days and themes will include nursery rhymes and children’s songs from the 1950s through to the 90s and characters from these rhymes will come to life and be performed by Anvil Productions!
Bodnant Welsh Food Centre is also pleased to announce the ultimate Bodnant ice cream challenge as one of the events.
With Baravellis and a chocolate fountain, the opportunity to make your own iced buns and best teddy and fancy dress competitions, adults and children alike will enjoy this charming event immensely.
There will be plenty of activities and crafts to help get kids ineterested in Welsh food and keep them enetertained all day. There is so much fun going on adults will want to join in too. You can decorate your very own gingerbread man, make clay pots and observe a traditional toy making demonstration. Children can paint, read and head to the games corner. If you are still hungry there will be fruit and cream tasting session in the Welsh Food Centre shop.
Since it is hosted by Bodnant Welsh Food the event will take place at Furnace Farm so you can enjoy beautiful surroundings in Conwy Valley as the children play.
There will be bee themed crafts too for children aged 8 and above where they can make flying bees.
There is so much on offer you and the children will be spoilt for choice.
Bodnant Welsh Food is dedicated to traditional Welsh cuisine and hope to get children and adults more involved with cooking Welsh food.
