Chester is once again bringing us the fantastic Food and Drink festival for 2014.
There are so many fantastic events to choose from this spring and summer in Chester.
There is absolutely no excuse to stay in or be bored this season if you are in Chester because you are spoilt for choice with all the amazing festivals and events taking place.
There is still half a month left of winter and you can keep warm while experiencing the culture and history of Chester by heading to the Grosvenor Museum and checking out the exhibition on Victorian Chester until March 28th.
This spring there are two wonderful festivals to enjoy: the Chester wine festival is back for its second year on March 20th and the Chester International Film Festival is back for its 28th year on the 6th of March.
Summer will welcome back the opening of the open air theatre but before then the month of April has one more delightful surprise to keep you entertained in the brilliant City of Chester. The Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival is a culinary sensation for all to relish in this April 19th-21st.
The Food and Drink Fest takes place on Chester Racecourse and you can expect to browse the finest cheese makers, cider makers, game merchants, dry cured meats, finest coffees, homemade pizzas and so much more.
Children can learn about cooking from the Academy of Culinary Arts. Restaurant Village is one of the best parts of the festival as it brings together cooking styles from around the globe from the Caribbean to Japanese. There is also the Taste Cheshire Village and a lifestyle section featuring the Grosvenor Arts Society. You can also watch cooking demonstrations and there will most certainly be drink exhibitors too. You can enjoy the whole festival in roughly 4-5 hours and the whole event costs less than £20 per person!
