One of the most entertaining local village festivals taking place in North East Wales this summer is the Bailey Hill Festival.
Bailey Hill Festival is filled with live music and activities suitable for all ages. It takes place at the top of Mold High Street on the 22nd June from 1pm until 6pm. Performances will take place throughout the afternoon, featuring well-known local bands including Heal the Last Stand and Sparrowhawks. There will be a chance to take part in circus skills displays, children’s workshops, tours of the Bailey and of course plenty of fantastic stalls where you can buy refreshments, handmade crafts and more. There will even be a chance to get involved in Nordic walking during the day.
In Gorsedd Circle there will be some really exciting workshops that adults and the kids will not want to miss such as drumming, face painting and more cultural activities.
In the church hall there will be plenty of delicious teas, biscuits and cakes to entice you. Tickets are available on the gate and are only £2 for adults and free for children under 16.
The Bailey Hill Festival is just one of several features that have gone into improving the local area. It is hoped that fantastic events like this festival will encourage more people to visit the historic site.
Everyone in North East Wales is delight to see the Bailey Hill festival finally go head. The festival had to be cancelled last year due to the booked date falling on one of the wettest, windiest days of the entire summer but it is now officially back for 2014.
Please come and enjoy this wonderful local event that not only provides lots of entertainment but it also a significant historical site and therefore a significant part of the local culture that must be preserved and enjoyed by all.
