Only 20 minutes deeper into the Wirral from Little Sutton is the town of Heswall and everyone in the region will be flocking there this autumn for Heswall’s annual Art Festival.
The Wirral is a centre for the arts at this time of year and it always attracts big crowds with its displays, performances and exhibitions throughout the town.
Heswall Art Festival takes place from 27th September – 11th October and brings a fantastic atmosphere to the autumn season.
There is not long left to wait for this wonderful collection of artistic celebration to kick off throughout Heswall. The list of events and performances is yet to be finalised but will be released very soon so keep your eyes peeled.
Every year, throughout the town of Heswall during this remarkable festival you can experience a wide selection of different artistic methods including: traditional and contemporary visual arts, performing arts and drama, workshops, where you can learn different crafts and skills yourself and great art competitions.
There are also fun events such as the craft fair and science day where you can browse stalls to find the best in hobby and craft materials or take the kids to learn all about the different sciences. There will even be spectacular events like the Heswall Art Festival Fashion Show, which is sure to blow you away and for those who love literary art there will be plenty for you too.
In 2014 you can expect the Wirral to showcase the best musicians, artists and actors in their respective fields and discover the great culture that is on offer.
