How many of us are a little listless at this time of year? Christmas can feel quite inferior for many of us – especially when the children have moved out, sometimes to places which are far away, and have children of their own to entertain. How does enjoying a delicious cream tea while relaxing by one of the huge, Victorian fires in the lounge or the bar sound upon Christmas eve? Your evening will commence with a welcome cocktail and a practically bottomless canape reception which is hosted by their very, very attentive general manager. You’re then invited to enjoy a truly amazing candlelit Christmas Eve dinner within their striking and very handsomely attired restaurant.
After this dinner, you’ll be invited to put your feet up in their lounge, or the bar if you prefer, with coffee and petit fours to hand. As midnight approaches, you are invited to commence upon a tradition quite sacred to St Tudno – a short walk to the unbelievably beautiful Holy Trinity Church within Llandudno’s Trinity Square for a very special service which commences at 11:30pm. After such, you’ll be invited back to the hotel to enjoy a truly festive hot chocolate with a dash of rum and toasted marshmallows. Yum!
On Christmas Day, you are invited to spend the morning opening your gifts while St Tudno’s team of talented chefs prepare a truly fantastic 6-course Christmas dinner. You’re invited to work up an appetite by donning your walking boots and take advantage of the beautiful surroundings by participating in a walk which features a stunning view of Llandudno’s magnificent coastline. When you return, you’ll be greeted with champagne and canapes within the lounge, as well as the magnificent Christmas Dinner you’ve likely been looking forward to all day.
The afternoon is yours as you wish to spend it, and you’re welcome to join the hotel again to participate in a “Tastes of North Wales” buffet which will allow you to taste the very best traditions from this fantastic region. To wind down a fantastic day, you’re also invited to attend St Tudno’s very fun Christmas Quiz.
Boxing Day will afford you a very hearty breakfast, as well as a Christmas staple across the country, Boxing Day Sales! You will be driven to Tweedmill within St Asaph in order to get in some retail therapy with an excellent shopping experience. Lunch will be provided by the hotel, so you can quite literally shop until you drop. Tea and Welsh cakes await you back within the hotel, and you’re free to take all the time you would like in front of the fire.
Finally, Boxing Day will close with a truly wonderful four course farewell dinner.
