One of the most prominent British bands in recent times is set to grace Llandudno with a special performance. Scouting For Girls will be playing a selection of their greatest hits in support of a campaign to secure the future of Llandudno Football Club.

The band is scheduled to perform at the Club’s OPS Wind Arena on Saturday, 10th June. In 2022 alone, they appeared at 70 festivals and sold out venues nationwide. Since their formation in 2005, they’ve been nominated for Brit and Ivor Novello awards, secured eight top 40 singles, sold over 2 million records, and garnered over 500 million streams.

Dubbed ‘Llandudno Live’, the concert will feature several emerging artists alongside the renowned London pop band, bolstering support for the club following the announcement by North Wales Live of its precarious financial position.

In October 2022, parts of the club’s 3G pitch were deemed unsuitable for use by Welsh football, severely impacting the club’s operations and prematurely ending the pitch’s lifespan by three years. The increased cost of living has rendered a new pitch unaffordable for the community club.

A Llandudno Football Club spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to host this event, which we believe has the potential to unite the community in a way we haven’t experienced at the Club for a long time.

This event also offers the opportunity to save the club and preserve its vital work for numerous young people and children across the town and North Wales

Tickets for the event are now available online.

This pop-rock band’s debut album sold over 2 million copies, and they’ve had eight top 40 singles over the years. They’ll have everyone dancing and singing along – a perfect finale to a truly splendid day for the entire family.

Tickets can be purchased online now, starting at £30.00 for adults. General sale tickets, VIP tickets, and family package deals are also on offer. Fans are advised against buying tickets from secondary ticket sites, as inflated prices and invalid tickets will not be accepted for entry to the event.
