Time to Celebrate Seven Decades of Lotus North Wales

It’s Lotus’ 70th Birthday – Hooray! That’s 70 years of quality sports cars being produced and to this day no one can create a car which quite compares to the fantastic Lotus North Wales. In celebration of this momentous occasion. Group Lotus’ CEO Mr. Feng QingFeng commented that the commitments to lotus can be clearly demonstrated by the developments in Hethel.

The project is championed by the best architects Feilden and Mawson, who submitted for planning recently, and the british marque outlining a bold vision for this impressive new Hethel Facility. These gargantuan plans were unveiled by founding Lotus engineering genius mr Colin Chapman. Hethel has and always will be the beating heart of lotus and they will never forget the area from which it came from.

This experience centre and museum will be located alongside the pit-land for the world famous test track, creating a focal point in the motoring world at Hethel. The complex will not only showcase the Lotus Brand and its wide range of facilities and vehicles, but also provide a kind of headquarters, as there will be office space and executive suites.

Those who are interested in the cultural heritage of the car brand can enjoy the prospective museum where they can learn about the founding and developmental history of this important pillar of the automobile industry. Of Course there will also be a modern restaurant complex with stunning view over the garden areas of the site, along with other hospitality facilities.

Existing installations will all be extensively renovated and upgrading, bringing the Lotus site 70 years into the future. Take a look at these images!

Not only this physical regeneration of the HQ, but Lotus is also bringing out 2 special edition models.
