Even in the winter time, Llandudno’s pier is worth celebrating. This fantastic landmark is very much the crown jewel for the holiday town, and a visit to the seaside simply wouldn’t be so without it in sight. This attraction is one of the longest piers ever to grace Wales, and certainly the prettiest. For those who enjoy visiting the seaside in all weathers as well, there are a variety of entertainments and amusements on the pier which are year round.
For visiting this beautiful piece of Victorian architecture, you’d be well placed at the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno. Just like the pier, the Imperial hotel is storied and rather old – but very well maintained.
The Imperial Hotel has been recently upgraded its décor inside to a more modern take on the Victorian era. Emulating old Victorian styled interior fashion, the Imperial Hotel is decked out in gorgeous wallpaper, antique furniture and even boasts flowers woven through the chandeliers. That, and the Imperial Hotel has a rather fantastic restaurant for you to get your teeth into – being awarded countless awards such as AA rosettes and of course ranking at 5 stars from the Food Standards Agency, this amount of success hasn’t seemed to have gone to The Imperial’s heads.
You’ll find most likely the best meal in Llandudno at the Imperial Hotel, and more than likely at the best price within the town out of all the hotel North Wales. With a series of deals and breaks and not forgetting their iconic Afternoon Tea. You can also upgrade your traditional Afternoon Tea with a glass of Champagne.
