Gwydir Chapel is certainly worth a look too. Attached to St Grwst’s Church, the chapel was constructed in the year 1633 from a design by the legendary Inigo Jones. On the floor of his chapel is the gigantic coffin of Prince Llywelyn ap Iorwerth who was the warlord King of Wales for over 48 years. Of further interest is the stone effigy of Hywel Coetmor.
