People in Wales are typically very proud of their heritage, and their traditional public holidays are always well-celebrated with a whole host of festivities and merriment. The start of next month marks one of the most important in the Welsh calendar, St David’s Day.
St David’s Day falls on March 1st each year, and as you might have guessed, is in recognition of the patron saint of Wales, St David. In the 18th century, this day was declared as an official national day of celebration in Wales.
