Portmeirion
This village is a popular destination amongst visitors to the surrounding areas. It was designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian Village in Gwynedd, North Wales. Set in a rocky backdrop upon the magical coastline, the seaside village attracts many visitors from the Snowdonia area every year. The town has everything you could need for an excellent day out – beautiful atmosphere, lovely scenery; plenty of places to eat and drink as well as a special beach you can sit back and relax on.
Bodnant Garden
Situated above the River Conwy in 80 acres of grounds, Bodnant Garden is one of the UK’s most stunning gardens and one of Snowdonia’s most loved attractions. The garden is one of Snowdonia’s most loved attractions and is split up into two parts; terraced gardens with informal lawns and a wild garden set in a river valley. Bodnant is planted with exotic plants that come from all over the globe, making the garden extraordinarily different and interesting.
Coed Y Brenin
Coed Y Brenin, in the south of Snowdonia is a magical forest that has been adapted to offer an excellent mountain biking facility to locals and visitors. Routes are marked up so it is easy to find the one that you and your party would be most suited to. A place to fix up your bike, somewhere to eat and a children’s play area are all facilities of Coed Y Brenin that can offer you the best time on your biking day out.
Conwy Valley Maze
Conwy Valley Maze is the world largest garden maze that covers over two acres of land. The maze in constructed from English Yew and uniquely contains different themes, from Japanese Zen, Tropical and Butterfly garden variants. The maze is open for most of the year, but can be closed occasionally, especially on days of poor weather.

Plas Tan Y Bwlch Gardens
Plas Tan Y Bwlch is a large Victorian mansion that is now used as a training and study centre, with largely wooded gardens open to the public for free. Breathtaking lawns and ornamental ponds, a variety of rhododendrons and azaleas, and a beautiful water garden combine to make Plas Tan Y Bwlch the perfect tourist attraction for all types of visitor in the Snowdonia region.
Plas Yn Rhiw
The small, 16th century manor house on the Llyn Peninsula homes an ornamental garden and spectacular array of views across Cardigan Bay. Restored in 1938 by three sisters, the property was restored and then donated to the National Trust, who care and open it up to the public. This property has proven to be an exceptional attraction with a rich history and breathtaking environment.
Penrhyn Castle
A 19th century castle set in 60 acres of beautiful grounds, the combination of parkland, Victorian era architecture, exotic trees make the gardens some of the most popular in the region. The interior of Penrhyn Castle offers a warm and historic environment, priceless art collection, a railway museum and a doll museum, each of which have pushed Penrhyn Castle’s reputation up the pecking order in Snowdonia.
