One of the finest establishments upon the Conwy Valley, the Groes Inn within Tyn y Groes, has been purchased by JW Lees, a family owned and ran business that is well known within the North Wales area for their ownership of both the Anglesey Arms on the Menai Bridge, and the Trearddur Bay Hotel on Holy Island, North Wales.
The Groes Inn, we believe, is an excellent establishment. It’s both historical and modern, with sympathetic maintenance and all care taken to maintain its history – but it’s also a very excellent place to stay and eat. Good, hearty food has been the tenant of the Groes Inn throughout all of it’s lifetime, and this establishment is, in our minds, one of the finest restaurants in Conwy and pubs in Wales.
It’s number of accolades are indication of this of course, with it being rated highly by Visit Cymru, the Michelin Guide and of course possessing AA Rosettes since the early 2000s.
It’s surroundings are absolutely fantastic – and it’s surrounded by attractions of high repute such as Zip World, Bodnant Gardens and of course Surf Snowdonia – and fits in very well with North Wales’ has been subject to a much needed renovation within the past 10 years, and is well equipped and suited to provide a wonderful experience that you’ll want to return to again and again.
This excellent Hotel in Conwy has garnered national attention and it’s really not all that difficult to see why. Wrapped in vines and outfitted in traditional styling, the Groes Inn no doubt will be a very profitable investment for it’s new owners.
