The annual Woodfest Wales event is upon us once again, with it set to begin tomorrow (Friday 31st May, lasting up until the Sunday, 2nd June).
The annual festival that is dedicated to all things wood has established itself over the past 11 years, attracting thousands of visitors annually. Among the attractions is a chain saw carving competition, along with a huge range of other wood related events. The interactive festival is set to be another interesting event, perfect for all of the family, where you’ll be able to experience craftsmen creating traditional, beautiful wooden pieces.
Woodfest has a number of different event arenas, with exhilarating displays constantly on, with over 150 outside stands and demonstrations, with 6 main marquees that are full of interesting and unique goods that are produced on our own turf.
Many of the attractions and events are set to wow, with pole climbing, timber framing, bike shows, educations and arts, logging, wood crafts and a range of obscure timber sports that you can watch (and maybe have a go at)!
Aside from the aforementioned events, there will also be plenty of wonderful foods, birds of prey and a fairground, ensuring there is something for absolutely everyone.
Woodfest take place at the Kinmel Estate, St George, North Wales and welcomes everyone to go and enjoy Woodfest this weekend!
