September presents locals and visitors of North Wales a fantastic range of events to get involved in. Some may say that Summer is over, but the spirit and range of events still to come say very differently!
The weekend just gone saw a range of excellent events, with the Festival Number 6 taking place in Portmeirion. This festival lived up to its reputation from last year – amazing and famous headliners – along with smaller acts that you may have or have not heard before! Definitely look out for this next year.
The the annual favourite Honey Fair was in full flow, which went down a treat with visitors and locals alike. There were a range of trade stalls, exhibitions and entertainment for those that take to the wonderful walled town of Conwy.
The International Music Festival is taking place on the 20th September, all week up until 28th. There will be a huge range of different music talent, form instrument players, choirs and even opera singers. Check out the schedule in Denbighshire to see if you’d like to enjoy the fine talent on display.
The Mold Food Festival takes place on 21st and 22nd September 2013 – promising to be an absolute corker! The wide range of competitions and exhibitions that take place in the special cooking theatre! This event sees some of the best chefs from around the UK come together to share their knowledge and passion for food and drink.
The Wrexham Jewellery and Bead Workshop is set to take place on 21st September, with a host of diffenet stalls and trade stands showing and selling a range of beautiful items and homemade/ handcrafted jewellery and bead related products.
The Anglesey Sandman Triathlon is taking place on 29th September – in what will be one of the most epic race events that North Wales have ever seen. Whether you are registered or fancy going along to watch the competitors go, don’t miss this event!
Abersoch Jazz Festival – 27th 28th 29th September
Gwledd Conwy Feast – 26th 27th October is a huge feast that you simply cannot miss. The welath of knowledge and high calibre food experts present will amaze you, along with the mass amount of food so you can really indulge yourself on the Conwy quayside.
