We are only a week away from Festival No 6 in Portmeirion. This festival allows all different genres of music to co-exist in a beautiful venue which is Portmeirion. The line up includes a very diverse group of musicians and genres. This includes groups like Franz Ferdinand, The The, Friendly Fires, Everything Everything, Jesse Ware, The Charlatans, Ride, Django Django, Anna Calvi and many more. This one event gives an opportunity to embrace and hear all different genres of music in one place.
The festival is a four-day extravaganza going from the 6th straight through to the 9th of September. There is an option to only buy day passes for a select day, but if you decide to brave the elements there are different options when selecting accommodation. Festival No 6 offer many different options for accommodation. Festival No 6 believes that a good night sleep is required to have a successful weekend. There are many different options for accommodation ranging from boutique camping which is on site, local hotels which are offsite or the general camping zone which include the general pitching village.
With the event being a full weekend the question of food and drink must come up and be asked, But Festival No 6 has already thought of this and offer many different options to chose between. The local Hotel Portmeirion offers Dinner at Clough’s which has a line up full of Michelin-starred and innovative chefs. On Friday Aiden Byrne from the new 20 stories in Manchester is hosting. On Saturday Calum Franklin from the Holborn Dining Room at Rosewood Hotel is hosting. On the finale of the festival, there is Michelin star holder Gareth Ward from Ynyshir Hall is closing off the weekend. If something a bit more casual is what you desire there is the Global Street Food Village or The Welsh Food Market are available to fulfill any cravings you have.
There are whole different activities and experiences which are to be had at Festival No 6 including Woodland runs, Acroyoga play time, Cat Duval, Beginners Yoga, Frame Bootcamp and many more. This Festival is a place where everyone can fully emerge themselves and be accepted. Tickets are still available for this amazing event.
