Llandudno Expected to Welcome Thousands as Summer Preparations take place for the Huge Event.
Armed Forces Day is a day of celebration and recognition of our armed forces. It’s the public’s chance to show support for the men and women who make the armed forces community what it is. From Troops who are currently serving to service families, veterans, and cadets. There are many ways for people to show support and get involved with with celebrations – including attending the event or joining online.
It just so happens that this year, Armed Forces Day is taking place in Llandudno, North Wales.
The armed forces day takes place on the last Saturday of each June – and so on the 30th of June 2018 it will take place.
Llandudno will be in full swing with roads cordoned off to make way for parade routes. There will be a large warship HMS Somerset anchored just off of Llandudno Bay which will be an incredible sight to behold for all attendees of the event. There will also be air displays and demonstrations taking place throughout the day.
Expecting scores of guests, servicemen, veterans, cadets, reservists and many more as thousands of people come to celebrate the UK’s mighty armed forces.
