anglesey sheepThe Anglesey Show is arguably one of the islands – and North Wales’ biggest annual events, which sees thousands of visitors descend upon the island to enjoy two days of entertainment, agriculture, trade stands, competitive classes, crafts and livestock at the Anglesey Showground.

Anglesey, well known for its agriculture, coastal location and beautiful environments has made it a premier short break and holiday destination for people from all over the United Kingdom. On August 13th and 14th, the island will be hosting this premier agricultural event open to absolutely everyone, that this year has a very special guest – Prince William.

Entertainment including show jumping, demonstrations, presentations and stalls will keep you busy as you mooch around the huge array of trade stalls. Competitive classes for shire/light horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, fur and leather are all features of the Anglesey County Show that will be available for all to enjoy.

The special guest – Prince William will be present on the second day of the festival, where he will be enjoying the gundog and falconry displays as well as cattle judging, before he moves to the central show area. He will then make a speech to the visitors of the Anglesey Show, who has been involved with the RAF Valley rescue team throughout Anglesey over the past few years.

This will be one of the first appearances that Prince William will make since the born of Prince George, on July 22nd. Following Prince Williams speech, he will be presented with a gift by show organisers.

Make sure you make your way over to the Angelsey Show to enjoy Prince William presence, along with over 350 trade stands featuring agricultural products, clothing, crafts and vehicles, along with various demonstrations.
